Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is best known for her role as actress Violet Plunkett, in CBS' sitcom Mom. Calvano born in California initially was interested in competing gymnastics. She later decided to pursue an acting career. She debuted on the screen on the screen in 2010 with an Episode of CBS's 'NCIS. The big screen debut came a year later in the biographical crime-drama film 'J Edgar'. In subsequent seasons, she was able to establish herself as one of the most prestigious actors of today's young. For her performance in "NCIS," she was awarded a Young Artist Award for Best Performance on a Television Series Guest-starring Young Actress 11-15 in 2011. Her role as a special guest on Disney XD's comedy 'Kickin The 'It'' received her nomination again for the Young Artist Award. Calvano was an integral part of the cast of 'Mom' in its initial three seasons, and also appeared in several episodes of the final season. She was awarded the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star for her performance in Mom.
